Self Reflection 2

I have been greatly promoted from this year's study, but I still have a lot of shortcomings. This course gives me a lot of interesting experience. It provides us with a lot of opportunities to participate in competitions, to lead us to join interesting activities, to visit exhibitions, and to find useful information from abroad. Let me not only study, but also broaden my horizon, exercise my life to find small but interesting factors.

I also benefited a lot from our trip to Hong Kong. We not only visited the jewelry exhibition, and went to the famous art center, observed the development of the jewelry market and now popular trend, and find some useful information, I also found needed materials in the jewelry exhibition; On the other hand, about this graduation project, my design concept is' environmental protection ', and the materials used are very ordinary plastic bags. In the research I found that plastic is very bad for the earth, because they can't be decomposed by nature, only more and more. So, I used plastic bags in my jewelry making process. First, I want people not to ignore the harm caused by 'White pollution'; The second one is to find more uses for plastic bags. On this trip, I also found a very important information: The posters posted on the shop are about advocating reducing the use of plastic bags, in Hong Kong, plastic bags are paid for, the government advocates using shopping bags to reduce the use and disposal of plastic bags. This policy affirmed the importance of the concept I had chosen.

We spend a lot of time and energy in making the portfolio, but it's also a very interesting process. I had no clue from the beginning, and I had a headache for not knowing what effect I wanted, then I gradually found my own style. It is a great achievement to see the content being enriched.

The layout is my least good part, I always feel that my layout is not new and too simple, so I have a great effort in the background effect: use different colors of watercolor texture to enrich it.

It is precisely because of the need to make the desired effect and the need for meticulous processing of the pictures, so my Photoshop technique has improved a lot. In the production of the portfolio, I also learned how to skillfully use the software InDesign, which can see the final effect very directly, and it is easy to layout.

In drawing, I also found my own expression style, I am not good at drawing very detail, but I showed my design in a more free way. At the same time, I have learned the application of watercolor in the painting process, but I need more connections to be familiar with and improve.

we need independent planning time and work arrangement. In fact, I haven't been doing very well in planning. I always procrastinate and progress very slowly. In the future, I should strengthen the management of time, so as to form good habits. But I am happy that I have found my own style, whether in the design work or the portfolio, I have learned how to express my ideas more clearly.
