Carrie.K. cooperated with the school and hoped that we could participate in their "Singapore story" competition. Before we started the design, we were invited to visit the jewelry company and learn more about the characteristics of their jewelry so that our design could be more suitable for their style. Carrie.K. is Singapore local brand of jewelry design, the use of material is also very diverse, their price will not very high, and, although each piece of jewelry is small, but each piece of jewelry is very exquisite, and have a sense of design. They tell stories through small pieces of jewelry, lively with delicate elegance.

Since there is a Singapore, the design elements need to be very representative. Singapore has many landmarks and attractions, the Merlion, The Helix bridge, sky wheel, super tree, are very representative, but because they are so iconic, so there are many designers abroad related design, so that I want to find some special, and not too many designers used design concept.

The garden by the bay has always been a famous tourist attraction in Singapore, where many iconic landmarks are located. Here I found a very special and very design conscious building- Cooled conservatories. Here are the largest climate-controlled conservatories in the world. The glass and steel cooled conservatories bring the climates and plant life of Mediterranean and Cloud Forest regions to tropical Singapore. In the absence of a natural landscape, the conservatories are landmarks that prominently address. So I will use the building as my concept.

In my design, the outer part, I kept the streamlined shape of the structure, the middle part is a spherical with colored gemstones, represents a variety of flowers and plants in the building. In the selection of materials, the middle ball can be acrylic or resin, wood,glass, so the cost will not be high and the wight will be very light, which can be used in daily collocation. If the middle ball is made of metal, it will be more suitable foe formal occasions.

Because of the overall structure, the ball is not replaceable. My final drawing shows the effects of gold and silver, two kinds of metal materials.
