Shooting star. Design by me

Because before we took part in a Malaysian gold jewellery design contest (MIJF Jewellery Design). Unexpectedly, has won a merit award. Because they noticed we award on 31 July. Thus unexpected won the trip to Kuala Lumpur.

I designed four rings. My design concept came from Hayao Miyazaki's animated "Howl's moving Castle", inspired by a very important image of the cartoon - Shooting star. I think the image of Shooting star on behalf of the most pure heart and the firmness of love. As well as the a new beginning and a symbol of start a better life. So I use it as my inspiration, hope can deliver the most pure emotion. The design of star part is use gold, and the main part of ring is silver. Because the shooting star "tail" section is always bright and appears white.

This is the first time I went abroad to collect the prize was very excited and very fulfilling, I hope I can work harder, and can get more awards, this is a very memorable experience.
